heavy for summer use

I am seeking to avoid constant use of chemical sunscreens, and this was given a very high rating by the Environmental Working Group. However, the formula is very heavy. My skin cant breathe under it. Yes, it keeps the sun off, but I will likely save this tube until the autumn when the humidity is much lower. For summer in high humidity, this formula is just too heavy for me.
