It Does Smell But…
I have used this a long time, I always say nope not again but it works. I believe it is the lanolin that causes the slight ick smell. It is slight but it goes away. To me it is worth it. I have dry sore lip skin. My medication does terrible things to my skin. It is hard to find lip balms and treatments that work consistently. This is one of the best. It soothes and makes a protective layer on my lips. It doesn’t dry them. It doesn’t gather in the corners which is a big thing for me since I am prone to angular cheilitis. It really helps with dryness, soreness and it protects.

Tastes bad. Drying.
This dries out my lips and tastes really bad. I think it's the lanolin.
