Expected this to be more hydrating

For the product itself, 4 stars. I took an extra star off for the price. For it being over a hundred dollars for a standard 1.7 oz size, it should perform better. This cream is thick but absorbs quickly and completely. For my dry sensitive skin I have to use two applications for my skin to feel comfortable and not itchy. I wish this is more smooth and creamy like Elemis Oxygen Night Cream. I would recommend this cream for normal to combination skin. I purchased this cream for hydration, so I cannot comment on its lifting effect.
