Effective Sunscreen and Easy on the Skin
I have used this product for several years. I never leave the house without a sunscreen because of my fair skin. It has always been effective plus no skin problems, as I have adult acne, too. It is light on the skin and does an excellent job.

Will purchase again and again
I have oily acne-prone skin. I have trouble finding sunscreens for my skin type. I tried this and liked it. Thought I could do even better with the tinted version. I like the way the tinted melted into my skin, but it was too oily for me. I switched back to the untinted and will never stop buying it.

My favorite sunscreen!
I have tried several different brands of sunscreen over the past 20 years. Some of them were recommended by dermatologist, and that list includes EltaMD sunscreen. It becomes my favorite sunscreen because it's not oily, but my skin stays moist. It doesn't leave any white residue, and it feels light. Most importantly, it is scent free.

Works well, color is lighter than UV elements, darker than UV physical
This sunscreen works well but is just a bit dark for fair skin. Reducing the amount will sheer out the color, but also reduce sun protection. Personally, I mix it with the untinted version, and the color turns out much better. This tinted color is somewhere between the EltaMD UV physical (lightest) and UV elements (darkest of the three, and is more orangey). It's a pity because I love UV element's texture (very moisturizing) but hate the orange color. UV physical's color is just right, but the texture is way too dry for my dry skin. UV clear is an okay compromise, but I cannot use it around my eyes due to chemical UV filter.

This is my 10th order. I have used all the ELTA sunscreens and alternate depending on my skin in the a.m. If I need more hydration I turn to this. Once applied, wait 10 minutes, it will turn to a matte finish. Never breaks me out..

overall, a nice sunscreen
This sunscreen would be perfect if it was water-resistant and matte. It left a sheen which I did not care for. Living in Hawaii, I didn't feel secure wearing this sunscreen during the hot summer, as it would just melt off with sweat. It would probably work for the very short, less hot Hawaii winters. Otherwise, it felt lightweight and pleasant.

Tinted Sunscreen
I have used the Elta MD Sunscreen for a few years and love the product. I tried the tinted sunscreen, knowing it would provide some color, which would be good for days when I don't really want foundation. Unfortunately, the color made my skin have a red tinge about it. The product still felt fine, but it didn't give me that slight tan glow I was hoping for. So, I'm going back to the untinted version.
