Have been using this sun block ever since my dermatologist recommended it. My arms & legs get plenty of color with the usual 30 SPF lotion, but my face is does not seem to get those damaging rays. Quite satisfied.

Great Product
I really liked this lotion, felt great & lightweight. Not shiny. However, after receiving the tinted version of the same UV Clear and trying it, decided to return the untinted for the tinted - just more practical for me as this is the only "makeup" I wear :) I was going to wear the other for working out, going to the pool but it is not water resistant.

Excellent Sun Care Product
This suncreen is the best I've ever used. It is lightweight, wears beautifully under makeup, and does not feel greasy. I wear it alone or sometimes mix it with moisturizer. Although it is described as being tinted, the tint is extremely light and hardly noticeable.While wearing this product in the sun, I have yet to experience a sunburn. I used to hate putting on sunscreen every day prior to discovering EltaMD, but now it is my go-to product.

Great for all skin types
I moved from the wet corner of the Pacific NW, Portland, to the high desert. I'm 50ish and my skin has never had an issue of being dry. I'm now in Lakeview, Oregon and my skin is constantly dry. The challenge... to find a sunscreen that didn't make my skin greasy and provided the right amount of moisture and sunscreen. This is a great product. Goes on smooth and "lovely." Soaks right in to my skin and provides a consistent level of sun protection. I highly recommend this product for year around sunscreen coverage.

I have been using exuviance and I was reading reviews about this sunscreen, I purchase the tinted version and what a disappointment. Even if you don't use much you end up with a greasy and shiny face. And always get a pimple after I use it. So I will probably use this only for the neck

Best Facial Sunscreen Ever!
I've used this product for a couple of years. I will not use anything else. I prefer the tinted. It's texture is smooth and light. It goes on effortlessly and blends nicely. The tint is so very light, it's just enough and doesn't really change your skin color like a foundation. This product feels light on your skin and does not produce extra shine like others I've tried in the past. Love this stuff!

Irritated my eyes
I loved the texture of this sunscreen and it wore well under my makeup, but I used it around my eyes and it really caused them to burn and be red. I believe it is the octinoxate. I was hoping to find an untinted physical sunscreen by Elta, but unfortunately there are only 2 Elta physical sunscreens that do not contain anything but Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide and they are both tinted. I have the tinted SPF 41 and it is OK, but seems a little too dark and turns orange on me. I still give this 4 stars because it is good, just not good for me to use on my face. I can still use it on my body.

Elta Sun Blocks are the Best
I have been using Elta MD skincare/sunscreen for more than 20 years. I honestly think the high zinc content (which absorbs with no white residue) under my makeup and everyday for years is why I have very few wrinkles in my late 30s. These products are great for sensitive and acne prone skin. I also have some rosacea and it never irritates my skin.

Nice, but ...
For the past year-and-a-half, I've been using EltaMD UV Physical Broad-Spectrum SPF 41 (Tinted), but decided to try this product because: a) I thought the pump dispenser might be easier to use than the tube and b) a little more SPF never hurts. While the pump dispenser is nice, this formulation is not as creamy as the SPF 41 version. I prefer the texture of 41 — it goes on more evenly and gives me more of a foundation-like finish. I'll be going back to it for my next order.

Love this sunscreen. I hate thick, heavy sunscreens, and this one is so light, you can barely feel that it's on. Works great under makeup, and feels very clean, not oily or greasy at all. The only downside for me is that it doesn't have a lot of staying power, especially during swimming or sweaty workouts - it comes right off, so I felt I needed to reapply more often than other heavier sunscreens. For outdoor workouts, I wouldn't recommend this - but otherwise, it's amazing.

EltaMD UV Clear 46 - Our Favorite!
I've ordered EltaMD UV Clear 3 times now and I've been using it for the past 3 years. This last order I ordered extra to give to three family members. It's the only sunscreen that doesn't cause our noses to break out. I have very dry age 52 skin, and use it on my nose. My daughters have combination skin, with acne and they use it all over their faces. It is the only facial sunscreen we've found which doesn't cause their skin to break out. It is not drying, but feels more like a very gentle sunscreen which doesn't cause breakouts. We love it!

Elta MD Sun Protection following skin cancer
Elta products were suggested to me by my dermatologist following surgery with skin cancer. I love the Daily and Clear. The untinted is the only one I will use as tinted stains clothes. The untinted goes on smoothly without turning my skin blue. It is silky going on and does not smell or get gloppy. It rubs in gently and does not streak or pull the skin when rubbing in. There is no coconut smell or any smell at all, which I prefer. I have used these two products for 6 years now. My skin does not get burned in the sun as long as I use my product. I strongly recommend if you want to protect yourself from UVA damage.
