Did I get a defective batch??

This mask goes on feeling like a clay. I notice no moisturizing whatsoever. Some softness, yes. But when I put it on it dries up. It’s not like putting on a thick moisture mask. It’s like putting on creamy, white clay. It doesn’t harden - it just dries and does nothing. I’m SO confused by this mask. No illuminating happening here. I can’t understand the 5-star reviews. Maybe Filorga just doesn’t work with my skin. I sprang for the Intense Vitamin C serum and also haven’t noticed a difference. 2 big disappointments and a decent amount of $ down the drain. What a shame, I was really excited to try them…
