This is a very interesting formula. It is a kind of thin, liquidy lotion. It feels hydrating but is not at all oily or greasy. It leaves a matte finish, yet has a slight, sort of metallic sheen. It does not feel irritating in spite of the vitamin C. The scent, to me, is brown sugar, not too heavy but does linger a bit.
