I like the tint it provides however the liquid is very thin and best applied with a moisturizer. On its own, it feels slightly grainy.

Almost perfect
I have been on a quest to find my new favorite tinted mineral SPF after the formula changed for my former holy grail. I have rosacea and am super sensitive. I’ve been using this for 3 weeks and I really like it so far. The texture is light and smooth. The only drawback is a “sunscreeny” smell.

I bought this to replace my sunscreen from a popular brand that reformulated all their SPF. I was annoyed by the hidden chemical filters in my "mineral" sunscreens (looking at you Butyloctyl salicylate). I am happy with this. The formula is very light weight with a matte finish and the tint works well on my pale olive skin.

Love this tinted sunscreen
This was recommended by my Dermatologist for sensitive reactive skin for increased sun protection. I originally tried the untinted version but was recommended to use the tinted for the extra protection provided by the iron oxides which gives it the tint. I’ve tried many sunscreens and this is my favorite. I have Sjogrens and Lupus so my skin is extremely dehydrated and delicate. The sunscreen is very lightweight and the color disappears once rubbed in. There is just enough color that helps even out complexion and I will wear alone without foundation. Mix with the skin drops for full coverage.

This is a light weight, easy to apply sunscreen. It was recommended by my dermatologist. It’s not greasy feeling like some sunscreens and goes right into my skin. It’s great as a base for makeup. This one is a definite no for me. I do not like that it has fragrance and alcohol denat in it. I should have steered away once I saw those in the ingredients but with all the positive reviews I just had to try. It really irritated my skin and broke me out really bad. Also there are far better tinted sunscreens available that are fragrance free and without any drying alcohols in them. Please use this with caution if you have sensitive or acne prone skin.

High-tech sunscreen that I will never be without!
I first discovered Isdin in Spain. High UVA protection (the cancer causing rays) and uses cellular technology to disrupt the melanocyte pathway... I was intrigued! After three years of daily use (rain or shine), my melanin pigmentation (brown spots) have dramatically reduced. Now it's the only product I need for a glowy, even complexion. It's the last step in my routine... no foundation required! My aesthetician was so amazed (she's an NP) that they started carrying it at their medispa. I'm in my mid 40's, half Chinese, half European Caucasia with slightly olive toned skin. Super prone to pigmentation. This tinted version is on the darker side but still perfect on my skin. Tip: Mix it with the untinted version (any of the Isdin formulas except the water one) so you can customize the color. Or apply it on select places as you would a bronzer on top of an untinted sunscreen. Bonus protection! All of the Isdin products are must haves IMHO. Lovely Skin, please start carrying the FOTOPROTECTOR ISDIN Hydro Oil! It's a biphasic body sunscreen with Pro-Melanin Technology.

In comparison with EltaMD tinted, the texture and tint of Isdin, also looks great on skin. I like it feels lighter, not so creamy as Elta. Easily removed with my skincare routine. The perfect sunblock for everyday wear when using makeup. For beach days I have to use more product, and retouch often, so I feel more protected.

Too "yellow" for my skin tone
Sadly, I'm not as pleased with this sunscreen as I'd hoped I would be. I'm sure all the good reviews are correct about the quality of this product's ingredients and performance. However, the tint is too dark, too yellow for my fair complexion. To use it, I will have to mix it with a lighter sunscreen from a different brand. I'm disappointed.
