Very tough to absorb

The ingredients list is great, however, it wouldn't absorb into my skin. When I tried to moisturize with this right after I showered, I found the texture so tough that it was a major fight to push it into my skin. While trying to rub it in it looked like a white film of sunscreen over my face. I was very disappointed. I reached out to see if maybe the jar I received was expired but they assured me that is wasn't. I believe very dry or mature skin would be more compatible with this.
