I'm not really a fan of the entire Lanza curl line. However, this particular product you can leave in or wash out. I use this once a week as a mask. After I rinse it out I take a dime size and leave it. I use Olapex # 6 with it and love the elongated curls I get. This particular product is truly amazing for the money
