I tried this product based upon the Olaplex reputation and the sale price. I like it's thickness, which results in it not dripping while you wait the allotted time before washing. I'm not sure how beneficial it's been since I started using the Olaplex 6 at the same time. The combination has resulted in less frizz and more easily managed hair styling.

Great for Restoring Strength
This product was recommended by a stylist to restore weakened strands. My granddaughter was experiencing quite a bit of hair loss with weakened strands. I have been using this product on her hair once a week for about four weeks and her hair has stopped shedding and the health of it markedly noticeable. I read somewhere that this product was being discontinued or the company was going out of business but I pray neither of those things are true. This is THE BEST product I’ve found for maintaining the health of our hair and if this goes away I would be completely devastated. Honestly, I was jaw-on-the-floor shocked at how my hair came out after the very first use. The stringy ends of my hair actually looked thicker and hydrated. I used the No. 3 by itself, and after being so happy with the results I have now added No. 0 to my routine. I took 1 star off for the size of the bottle. I have medium/long hair and it takes a LOT of product, so I may get 2-3 uses out of the bottle. I'm fine with buying it while on sale, but just don't know if I'd pay full price.

I tried different hair products to include different Olaplex products but this formula seemed to help with the moisture content of my dry and frizzy hair. I wash my hair about twice a week so as not to dry it out and the Olaplex No. 3 once a week. It’s given me back manageable hair that has again moisture. I do use a moisture infusing shampoo and conditioner which alone did not give me the expected level moisture. So I am pleasantly surprised with the results.
