Too little product to judge
I was hoping to use the card to find a match to my skin tone. Unfortunately, the trays contain too little product to be helpful. It would be better if the vendor included bigger samples of the foundations, even if it needed to charge more.

Simple way to try out the foundation, good idea and not a terrible price to pay but the amount of product you get is not enough to truly test the product. I took a picture but the website doesn't have a place to upload any. The size amount just covers the pad of your finger tip and you can cover under your eye with it. Also, the foundation has 18 shades and this tester only gives you 12, they should have a "Light" and "Warm" color pallet to choose from for customers. 9 on each because someone looking for Porcelain probably won't fit ebony. With that being said, the foundation feels very light (especially with a tiny amount on...) but I think I'll try the foundation for myself and hope for the best. Will it be a waste of money? I guess I'll find out.

The amount of product you get is absolutely not enough. The lack of oversight on this particular product is astounding. Why not put the shades in a minimum two different packages and then give more on each? Or give more on each anyway? Or make this free? This sample packet made me not purchase this product actually. If I do buy it it's because I've used this in the past and I'll guess Hope for the best I suppose because this is a nice product but the sample packet is just dismal.

Great idea but disappointing results
This is a fantastic idea and I wish more beauty companies would offer small samples for testing which shade is a match. Unfortunately, none of the lighter shades was a match. They were all too yellow, even the ones listed as cool shades, so I won't be purchasing this foundation. That said, I'd much rather spend a few dollars on a set of samples that pay full price for a tube of foundation that doesn't work.

This was a horrible sample. You can’t even tell because it is just a small tiny sample. It only went on one tiny place on my face, and I couldn’t tell if it was right for me. The coverage is really light so it won’t hide any blemishes or dark spots on the face. But because I didn’t get enough to really test it in the sample, I won’t buy it. They’re are lots of other foundations out there. I hate being schemed like that by a sample packet that doesn’t do the job.

I love that they offer this to determine your correct shade and feel the consistency etc. However, I found the amount of product to be to little for even 1 application which made it impossible to really judge the shade well especially in different lights. Also was unable to test how the foundation wore throughout the day. Because of this, I am hesitant to buy a full size due to the price and not feeling confident in the shade I would choose.

What would be better is blister packs of each shade so you could spread it over your whole face and see if it works for you and last through the day, etc. these shade cards only let you swipe the color along the side of your face.
