I have extremely sensitive inflamed seborrhea dermatitis skin. I purchased this product since it was described as helpful for my skin condition. When first used, I had a strong burning and was ready to return but I watched a video to get input. Then I called lovely skin customer service to get additional tips. Here's what works for me. First wash my face with a cream cleanser, and then apply Dry skin Bar without using the sponge and only use a tiny amount on the areas needed. I only leave on for about 20 seconds and then rinse. Having only tried this a few times, that protocol seems to work. The reason for only 3 stars is I haven't used it long enough to get a real review.

I love this dry skin relief bar. I suffer from eczema and this cleansing bar has significantly reduced irritation, peeling, and redness on my skin. I use it mainly on my face and neck area twice a day. It has a black licorice scent to it. It doesn't foam up but it does lather up nicely with the included non abrasive sponge that you use to scrub your face with. TIP: Don't squeeze all the water out of sponge when storing it in the jar. A somewhat damp sponge helps pull the cleanser into the sponge giving you more lather.

The Dry Skin Relief Bar smells great and cleans my face without any residue or oils. Even though I have very dry skin, I don't like to wash with oily cleansers. I love that the bar is in a jar. It makes for easy transporting and protects the cleanser from water beating on it while in the shower. It comes with three sponges. One sponge will fit inside the jar with the bar. The sponge helps to evenly cleanse and is non-abrasive. One small complaint is that I would like to see it foam up more. As for foaminess, I would say it's about a 3.5 on a 1-10 scale, 10 being the foamiest—hence the 4 stars—other than that I love it and will buy again!
