Does this do anything?

This product boasts of polishing beads that dissolve to prevent over exfoliation. I have used this exfoliator numerous times, for up to five minutes and the beads never dissolved. I will say, my face feels a little smoother, but that could be wishful thinking. I got a new exfoliator today even though I almost have a full tube of this left.
