I ordered Matte finish for something different than the original. I prefer the original because I have very dry skin. But it's nice to have the Matte finish for a different look. Great Product!!
I have tried both the matte and the regular and like both depending on the time of year. My skin is oily T-zone so I use the matte in warmer weather and the regular in cooler. It is so convenient to have moisturizer and foundation together and a high SPF also. At first I hesitated to buy it because of the price, but it lasts a long time because you don't have to use much. I highly recommend this product!

At 52 & following a basal cell carcinoma removal 7 mos ago,I was in need of a tinted moisturizer with anti- ageing properties and a hefty sunscreen. My plastic surgeon's aethetician recommended this product, as well as other items in this line. I am very pleased with the matte version. It does not have yellow undertones, which I prefer;however, it blends exceptionally well, wears all day and when used with my mineral powder I couldn't be more pleased. I have purchased this a second time- which is saying alot for me. I have med-light skin & am slightly dry.

I really like this product. I don't feel like I need to use foundation when I use this tinted moisturizer. I have a very fair complexion and at first it looks a little dark when applied but it blends beautifully and looks very natural.

I prefer the matte
I love this product. I have very sensitive acne prone skin at 45. Its really starting to dry. I tried the regular and it was a bit greasy, it stayed on but required application of loose powder to take away the shine. I bought the matte. And I do prefer it. the regular has a dewy look, I dont like to shine. This product agrees with my skin and I wear it out instead of foundation so I dont look overly made up.

Best foundation ever!
I never wore foundation before but now that I'm getting older I find I have to even out my skin tone. I have bought very expensive foundations at a well known beauty product store where the sales people don't know what they are doing and I ended up looking like a plastic dummy! Doesn't make me break out
I have aging/acne prone skin and this product does not make me break out. Don't be intimidated by the orange color; I am very fair and it blends right in to my skin. After I apply it, I look in a magnifying mirror to make sure I don't have any product build up. I am getting glycolic peels, using a prescription lightening cream, and using prescription retinoids, and this product doesn't irritate my skin at all. I will definitely buy again.

Matte
The revision intellishade matte is a great product for sure and most likely your friends will agree, based on the shining reviews here. I have not met one person who has tried this product that does not like it. I will admit that it is a wonderful product, if you are looking for sheer to light coverage. It is definately a better selection (I think) than foundation, if you do not typically like the feel of foundations/powders, etc or are very active. This provides a great alternative. I have used both the reg. intellishade and the matte, and I prefer the matte for summer and the reg. for winter. You can also cover blemishes by dabbing a tiny bit of the intellishade directly on the area of concern and it will mask it. Well worth it.
