Sloughs off before it does its job
I’m a big Skinceuticals devotee and I’ve been using this product for a couple of months, but I haven’t seen results because the texture of the product is so thick and sticky that even when I let it set for several minutes, it just crumbles off my face when I try to apply sunscreen then again when I’m at work. This product also seems to slurp up all my thinner serums and takes those with it. I run into problems getting Skinceutical’s own sunscreen to blends in too, and if I use a tinted sunscreen it looks like my skin is so dry that it’s flaking off. I really love the idea of this product, but in practice it’s a literal mess. And I’m not even mentioning that I can’t even wear a light finishing powder—I can’t imagine the mess I’d see if I wore foundation! If I’m losing the benefits of all my serums, and my sunscreen slakes off leaving me without SPF protection, what’s the actual purpose of this serum aside from serving as a cosmetic wrecking ball? It can’t plump anything if it won’t even stay on my premenopausal face, plus it’s opening me up to future wrinkles and skin cancer. After my fifth time at work trying to shed off the glycan cake of my daily serums and my remaining sunscreen, I have to admit that this product does more harm than good. It’s really disappointing to spend so much money on something that removes even greater investments from my skin. And it’s disappointing as a Skinceuticals super fan because I’m left wondering how this product has so many 5 star reviews—it literally pills up and looks terrible as soon as I apply the brand’s own sunscreen, and then takes the remaining serums I’ve put on with it within three hours later at work. Is the problem that I’m using other serums and sunscreen? I think of the problem is the product, not me, so I’ll finish up this bottle using it at night. And then I’ll have one fewer serum, which is fine because this is more of a goo than a serum anyway.

Caused acne
I have sensitive, redness prone, normal-to-dry skin with acne rosacea. HA Intensifier didn't work as well as the Phyto Corrective and caused acne.

nice under makeup

I've noticed a difference
This helped to improve the fine lines and overall texture of my skin. Not sure that it's far superior to other HA serums though. It has a thicker consistency and thus the bottle goes fast. I only use it once per day rather than twice like the directions state. It's too expensive given how fast it goes.

Mild skin irritation
I had a mild skin irritation after using this serum. My skin became itchy, especially around jawline, and near the eye sockets, with a mild stinging sensation. It’s such a pity because this was my first time trying this brand, and I was really looking forward to it.

I need to give it more time, but I feel I prefer the original HA Intensifier. This product is thicker than I expected and does cause a small amount of redness after use. The redness does subside and it is a great product. However, the original HA intensifier to me is better

Not for Sensitive Skin!
I've been using Skinceuticals HA Intensifier for years. I was excited to try the new Multi-Glycan formula. Unfortunately, after use my face broke out into a rash. But, I have very sensitive skin. So all of you with sensitive skin, it might be a good idea to test the product on a small area of skin first. I'll be going back to the regular HA Intensifier.
