Lovely day tinted sunscreen.
I've been using Essential Defense tinted for a few years. It's my go to day sunscreen. I use a stronger sunscreen playing golf. I really love it because it feels nice and it's not heavy.

GOOD FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
This sunscreen is not the most moisturizing formula I've ever tried, but it's effective and does not cause irritation to my sensitive, reactive skin. Although I spend very little time in the sun, I use sunscreen daily as my foundation. I like another brand of physical sunscreen for my face, and use this on my neck since it doesn't discolor or show on my clothing. If I do decide I need a less emollient facial sunscreen on a given day, this works well mixed with a tiny amount of foundation.

Sunscreen facial lotion with skin care feel
I was looking for an unscented, mid-to-high SPF level facial lotion. This totally fits the bill, 35 SPF which is enough. Really nice feel to it, spreads evenly and no white left-overs from zinc oxide. It feels as light as a daily facial moisturizer. I'm wanted an unscented product and this is. Checked all my boxes. One I keep coming back to
I often go hunting for other mineral moisturizers. However, many are not compatible with the SkinMedica line (e.g., have retinol or vitamin C which are not compatible with human growth factor). So, I keep com. ing back to this Essential Defense Mineral Shield.

THE BEST
I will wear this sunscreen until the day I die or the day it's discontinued, whichever comes first. It's the only mineral sunscreen that truly blends into the skin well - not even other brands that claim to be "clear" do that. Depending on my mood, I mix this with a pump or two of the tinted version for a nicer finish on the skin. It's truly excellent - the only mineral sunscreen I can confidently say I love.

This is a great untinted sunscreen. It doesn't leave a white cast, however I am a fair/moderate skin tone, so I can't speak for darker skin tones. It is a nice smooth texture and feels lovely when applying. Does an excellent job protecting my skin from burning without causing any irritation or breakouts.
