This serum glides on effortlessly and I like it's hydrating effects; however, I have noticed that my eyes feel irritated after I use it. It works great for my skin, just leaves my eyes themselves feeling tired, similarly to the way fumes from sunscreen irritate my eyes.

I thought this was a moisturizer from the description. It doesn't seem like one. It's clear and gel like. It doesn't work well for me under makeup because it makes the area you put it on shiney.

Uplifting Eye Serum
I've loved SkinMedica products so thought I'd try the eye serum. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and I have seen a little improvement in the dark circles below my eyes but the puffiness hasn't seemed to change. I will continue to use it and hope I see more results in the next few weeks!

Nice ...but
When I began using the SkinMedica line, I did not include the Uplifting Eye Serum but used only the TNS eye cream -- along with cleanser, toner, TNS Essential Serum, HA5, C/Retinol 1.0, and Dermal Repair Cream. The whole regime was awesome from the outset and I saw results very quickly. I decided to add this thinking it would improve the eye area. It is a very nice serum that goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly. However, after going through the entire bottle, I did not notice any greater improvement. The TNS Eye cream alone is very moisturizing and seems to do a great job on its own. The serum is indeed a nice addition but for the price, if I had to choose one or the other, I'd definitely stick with the TNS cream and omit this one. If the cost is not a factor, this is a nice addition for the extra moisture and firming. If you'd rather invest elsewhere, I'd recommend sticking with the TNS eye cream and investing in the TNS Essential Serum instead.

I used this product for about 2 weeks, I really like the texture and the way it made my undereye area feel, I thought it was very moisturizing. However, I experienced a reaction to it that gave me red bumps that turned into scaly patches, I assume Im allergic to an ingredient in the product. The spots went away as soon as I stopped using it. I do have sensitive skin and am also allergic to the TNS products from Skinmedica so Im sure if youre ok with those products, you would love this one. If youre not sensitive skin type, I would recommend.
