Rather disappointed

When I pulled the pencil out of its box, the inside "lead" fell out. Hmmm--not off to a good start. Then I discovered that is it NOT self-sharpening. But I was told when I called to check on this, that it is self-sharpening. Had I known this, I would have probably ordered the sharpener for it. I am not too fond of the consistency of the pencil. It is a little too soft and moist create a strong line. On the good side, however, the color is nice.
