I don't wear eye shadow but was looking for a product to even out the skin tone of my eyelids so thought I'd try this. This product goes on nicely and it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes but I don't think it offers much coverage.

theBalm Put a Lid on It Eyelid Primer is a little bit thin in consistency, and doesn't give quite as long-lasting results as some other products, but is a good value considering its performance in relation to its fairly low cost. I don't know for sure that I'd re-purchase, but I'm not sorry I tried it.

I have dry lids, so I wanted a primer that didn’t dry down completely and left a more emollient slip to the lids. This does it! It’s a good product, not great and gets the job done. Eyeshadow lays nicely and blends easily overtop. It performs well at covering pigmentation on lids and the price is good.

I have only tried this primer one time, but it worked much better than I had hoped. The texture is very strange, moist and shiny but goes on matte and colorless. The primer made my eyeshadow pop and last the entire day. Also, you get a large amount of product for the money.

Better eye primers out there
I use eye primer daily to keep eye makeup on all day as well as to intensify the color. I am not a fan of this primer. After applying it, I give it a chance to set before using anything else. With mineral eyeshadow, it's okay. It seems to last, but it still smudges easily if touched. With pressed eyeshadow, the color of the shadow seemed to disappear. And often my black eyeliner will transfer to my lids even though it should be set. My favorite TF eye primer blows this one out of the water. I can touch my eyes, sweat, cry or go out in the rain and my eye makeup looks absolutely flawless even late into the night.

Nice product, very similar to another company's highly touted eye primer. It goes on feeling greasy, which is great for me because I have dry eyelids. There is no color to this primer and I do not wear heavy or dark eyeshadows to tell if the primer makes them stay true. I can say that it helps your shadow to not crease, so it's doing it's job!

What I love about this primer is that it performs just as well as more expensive primers I've tried, but it is much less expensive, and the tube of product is huuuuge! The packaging is also really cute haha. A little goes a long way, and this tube lasts me a very long time. I recommend trying this one out!

I like this product, but I feel that I could find something comparable at a lower price. It's hard to describe, but this eyelid primer has a slightly different texture than others I've used that were more creamy like lotion. This one smooths on well and doesn't absorb too quickly.
