This is great for outdoor exercise sunscreen. White cast improves after a few minutes, but I just wish it dried down better! Great basic mineral sunscreen.

UGH...I was so sad to see that Vanicream changed their formula. I hate it when companies do that. I've been using Sport 35 for YEARS and LOVED it. Hardcore fan. The new blend stays very white and for MUCH longer. I used to love how quickly the old formula soaked into the skin with no white residue. This is also as much less moisturizing. As someone with dry skin, I LOVED the original 35 Sport. It was moisturizing without feeling or looking greasy. This made my face feel chalky once it sunk in. Also, the tubes are now an ounce smaller, but with the same price. They used to be 4 oz and are now 3 oz. Very disappointed and won't buy again. Two stars because it does still provide excellent sun protection, but I really can't use it. The package shipped quickly and the product was well-packaged.

different formula than before
The formula has been reconfigured, since this tube was completely different in consistency and feel than the last dozen I have used. I do not recommend this product change. It goes on quite thick and white. The zinc oxide reminds me of the old-fashioned sunblock from the early '80s. (And yes, I have been using sunscreen/block for that many years.) The old formula would sink in and stay on my face during my outdoor activities. I use sunscreen when I run in the morning and when I play golf. This new formula sits on top of my face, and I literally sweat it off, whenever I wipe my face. I had more sunscreen on my golf glove than I did on my skin. And, I do not sweat a great deal. Very disappointing, since I switched to this product a few years back because of the price point and cleaner formula. Will not re-purchase.
