This leaves my fine hair very soft and smooth, but I only need a very small amount to protect my ends. A full pump of the product is too much. Coarser or thicker hair can probably use more.

This product just doesn't measure up to the other five Surface products that I have used. The scent, texture and packaging are good, but I noticed no difference in my hair condition or fading of color. It did serve some purpose as a styling aid. Even on sale, it's significantly over priced.
