Like most Virtue styling products, this has no hold but adds moisture. My hair looks great in the morning but needs more product (6 in 1 styler) on dry hair in the afternoon to tame flyaways and frizz. I have 3a/b curls and was hoping this would be a gel with light hold. It is a thick, white, opaque product that is more like a leave in conditioner than a gel. I love how soft my hair feels and how healthy it looks - I just need a product with a little more hold.
