The fibers do hold better with the spray.

I am not sure how different this is from "regular" hairspray but I have been using XFusion fibers for years and they do hold better with the spray. (You don't HAVE to have it but it helps. I can't live without my XFusion (I use Auburn - sometimes Medium Brown) so I caved and got the "kit" and now I am reordering this teeny bottle of spray.
