Like all Dermalogica products, the name confused me, so of course I bought it—this stuff is well reviewed and I must’ve thought, “why not?” I’ve found that layering it beneath my retinol serum gives me a solid buffer so my skin isn’t always dry and pink afterwards, but the serum—which has a somewhat water-based cream-gel texture—is best on retinol rest nights. I use it with the Babor derma-filler and collagen moisturizer and the mix has been hydrating and relieving on retinol off nights. Clearly I’m still working it into my routine, but I love that it makes my skin plumper!! And it smells divine, it has a very light citrusy odor. I love it.
