As a person for whom only hot rollers will lift the hair off my head, I was happy to experience a lift at the roots from the use of this shampoo. However - CAUTION - if you have thin, old, fly away hair you must limit the frequency of use. Once a week does it for me. Any more often and I look like I stuck in finger in an electrical outlet. Used judiciously it works pretty well for me.

I first learned about this shampoo from my stylist, who used it during a haircut. I ordered it from LovelySkin to try at home, and I’ve been very pleased with it. What stands out most is the balance: it leaves my hair feeling clean but not stripped, and moisturized without that over‑conditioned, “floopy” feeling. It hits the middle point perfectly—no dryness, no heaviness. The scent is also very pleasant and not overpowering, which I appreciate. Before this, I used Kenra’s Color Protecting Shampoo for years, but the recent reformulation added a strong coconut scent that I couldn’t get past. The Professional Moisture Shampoo has been an excellent replacement. It performs just as well for me and smells much better. In general, I’ve found Kenra shampoos to be consistently high quality—rich, concentrated, and reliable—and this one fits right in.

I've used this throughout the years. I apply the gel to my just-washed hair prior to blowing my hair dry. You don't need much, about a dime, for a short bob style. I either leave my style as it is or use a curling iron. I follow up with Kenra Volume Spray 25. I do nothing with my hair until my next wash, in about 3-4 days.
