I have wanted to try this mascara for a while but it’s rather crazy expensive. I usually use high end cosmetics but was reluctant to try this until one of LovelySkin’s excellent sales nudged to try it. It’s certainly doesn’t flake or run like so many mascaras. I use a lot of eye cream so finding a mascara that doesn’t smear and smudge is a plus, and it’s not shiny, which I like. It doesn’t add much volume but does seem to lengthen and the black is very black, which is a plus. I actually prefer a mascara that adds volume and drama without added fibers, and they are out there if you look. My issue with this mascara is that it’s a royal battle to remove, and I have lost a couple of lashes struggling to achieve this. Koh Gen Doh foundation is magnificent but I dread the struggle to remove this mascara.

The reason why I only gave 4 stars is the two-color palette. It is not easy to blend both shades all together. To blend them, I put them separately on my cheeks, and then blend them.

This is a quality product. The coloring is subtle and effective. It's definitely worth the money. I recommend discarding the enclosed applicators; purchase proper eyeshadow brushes. … more
