This is the only blemish crème/serum that works for my pre teen son’s stubborn blackheads on his nose. As soon as his hormones started changing around 11-12yo his nose area was a hot mess. It felt like it happened overnight. I had a bottle of this on hand, but hesitated to have him use because of the price so I first tried several OTC options, biore strips, and a handful of other teen acne serums before realizing he needed help from the pros - seriously. I don’t think boys care like girl & they’re much less detail oriented. It’s a challenge to even get him to apply ANY soap to his face in the shower much less exfoliate or do any of the above consistently. I can’t be the only boy mom who’s discovered their lack of concern & consistency with thorough hygiene regimens! Anyway, I started leaving my bottle on his bathroom counter after applying for him several times and just reminded him to apply it on his nose whenever he brushes his teeth. After a while he noticed the difference and even asked me where it was when I occasionally borrowed it and forgot to return it. Well, he ran out around Christmas & told me I needed to replace it & asked me several times since if I’ve reordered it. His blackheads are now out of control again. Fwiw, his nose was virtually cleared up entirely from using this, but it has now been 2.5 months since he ran out. I won’t let this happen again. I feel like his blackheads are talking to me at this point. Gross, I know. Long story, it is really quick and easy to apply, but more importantly it actually works and eliminates the most stubborn of blackheads. When starting on a problem area, apply at least twice a day (am/pm). If you do this for 2 weeks (once/week physically exfoliate the nose before applying) you will see a huge difference quickly. Then, just once a day or even every other day for maintenance. A LITTLE goes a LONG way. The bottle should last a year (at least) if just applying to trouble spots. Tip: I only use the screw cap on the bottle & do not leave the dropper in the bottle. This is recommended per the instructions due to break down if the dropper is left in the liquid.
