I've been treated in the past for both basel cell and squamous cell skin cancer, and I have surgical scars on my face. Both my plastic surgeon and dermatologist recommend always wearing SPF 50 mineral sunscreen. I decided to try SkinCeuticals, and I absolutely love it! I have tried many mineral sunscreens, and this is truly the only one that has zero white cast. None! I have combination skin, but it doesn't make me break out, and while most other mineral sunscreens can be very drying, this is hydrating without making my t-zone oily. I also have not had any issues with irritation, and I'm applying it over surgical scars that are still healing. It also wears well under makeup. This is definitely my new favorite sunscreen!
