This mousse is very lightweight and gives my hair a soft hold. It doesn't leave it sticky/stiff, just enough for my hair. I can see maybe mixing it with a stronger mousse or gel for a stronger hold if that's what you desire. This also somehow feels moisturizing in my dryer hair. Thought I'd give this a try for my thick, curly/wavy hair but I'm disappointed it didn't work as well for me as my drugstore brand. In fact, my hair was flatter with more fly away frizzies. The product did leave my hair feeling soft and I liked the smell. It's expensive tho so I won't be buying it again.
