My hair has turned white and it can be quite lovely. However it has this tendency to take on a yellow tint which I do not care for. When I sprayed the violet toning spray on my hair and blew dry, it gave my hair back its silver hue and great shine. Did not dry out my hair or leave any feel or build up in my hair. My hair is fine short. I was happy with the result.

This stuff is super for a lasting hold regardless of the weather. It will hold a set for 3-4 days so all you need to do is comb and fluff or redo a curl or two. A. Just have if you are on the go. … more

This was my first time using Surface Blowout Protective Oil. I liked the way this oil wasn’t heavy & left my hair a little shiny. I must tell you that I didn’t blow dry my hair, so I can’t comment on how my hair looked or felt after blow drying, sorry. I usually use the bassau oil on my hair, which I like— just thought I would try something different. I love all the Surface brand products! If you’re looking for a bit more shine to your hair, then I would recommend this product. Once again, I’m very satisfied!!

Based on the reviews, I was hoping this could be used to calm frizz and revive second day curls but it didn't do anything for me. My curls lay as flat and frizzy as though I hadn't used anything. I'm still looking for the product that will help with that. Either that or get a buzz cut.

While using the whole Bassu Surface line I've applied this product as a mask. I rinse it after 15 minutes and unfortunately haven't experience a deep conditioning sensation. It just feels like using the regular bottle of hair conditioner. While the cream is covering my hair it feels smooth and moisturized but as soon as I rinse it the effect is gone. I believe the Masque is not penetrating deep enough to hydrate hair, instead is coating the strands. This approach doesn't work for me. I'm unaware of its efficacy as a leave in treatment with or without heat.
