This is the most basic clay mask that you could ever find, and that's what makes it so good! It does exactly what clay mask needs to do: get the gunk out of my pores without drying me out. I apply to dry skin by tapping motions with my fingers to ensure an even application, as I have found applying it with any moisture on the skin causes the product not to set properly and swiping the product on the skin leaves the product too thin. Wonderful activity from the botanical oils feels nice, and I love when I can actually feel a product working! The mask can feel drying while setting, but the underlying skin is hydrated and smooth upon removal. I do not spray to keep the mask moist.
