I usually use (and love!) bareMinerals Complexion Rescue gel cream and thought that I would try the Foundation stick. The stick is a bit heavier, but blends well seems to provide better coverage than the gel cream. I’m a bit of a foundation junkie and try any out there for dry and mature skin. So I’m comparing this against dozens of foundations. I am NW 15 in coloring and Opal 01 is a great match for me Fall through Spring. I might need to look for the next shade darker in the summer. While I have 2 other favorite foundations, this is my favorite for everyday use. I apply it with stripes and then pat it in with a makeup sponge. Then I finish it off with a light dusting of Jane Iredale pressed powder. The finish is very natural - skin like but evened out. It holds up great and offers sun protection. The stick format makes it simple to apply and carry in your purse if you do need to touch up. I also am happy that it has no fragrance.
