Worth it

Ok, so I was apprehensive about cutting the strip and completely ruining the strip. That part was easy. However, in 1st applying the left strip, I completely messed up. The strip rolled together, and I kept putting it on & taking it off to get it just right on my scar. Once I got the left down, I had a much easier time with the right side. As a result of my trial & error with the left side, that strip was left a little messier than the right. Nonetheless, I used my strips for about two months. I bought the medical tape & found that I only had problems with adhesion in the center of my breast. The tape was a waste because it didn't hold the strips in place. I would constantly have to adjust the tape. Once I was able to wear underwire bras, I felt the strip portion in the center stuck much better. After ridiculous amounts of washing (I didn't buy silique clean, but in hindsight, I should have), picking scabs off, rolling/sticking strips together with the ends also started to lose adhesion. I advise cutting the strips a little longer so once the ends start to go you just cut that portion off. Overall, the adhesion lasted a long time, and I could continue to use it. What it really comes down to is that my scars are healing nicely and I will (eventually) go back to using my strips :)
