This just sits on top of your lips and doesn’t really rub in. It isn’t drying per se, but it does have a dry/pasty texture when you rub your lips together. I do not have any fine lines around my lips yet, but I also have not noticed any increased moisture, smoothness, or plumpness after a couple weeks of consistent use. This may be effective for someone with more pronounced fine lines but for younger skin, this is not worth buying.

Unlike others, I founds this to be drying and irritating rather than irritating. Straight out of the tube I'd expected it to at least be moist and spread well, yet neither was the case for me. Maybe I just got a bad tube, who knows. In general I use a lot of Jan Marini products and love their results, so this was a big disappointment. I'll be tossing the product rather than continue to irritate my lips surrounding areas.

So far the HYLA Lip has proven to be as stellar as all Jan Marini products I have tried to date. You can put your faith and trust in Jan Marini to improve your skin and keep that youthful glow. I have noticed my lips are staying more moist for longer periods of time, and in the dry Arizona Summer heat, this is quite the challenge. In my opinion, it is a superior product to the C-Esta lip and the tube lasts a good period of time. I would definitely repurchase and recommend this product.
