I don’t notice anything markedly different with using this shampoo but I absolutely love the K18 mask so I figured I would try other products that they create. I use it as one of many shampoos just to alternate. Not decided if I will continue after I get through the bottle. It says that it is best to use it before applying the K18 mass to make the mask work more effectively, so I might stick with it.

Best detox shampoo

I went from dark brown to blonde two years ago as a way to deal with ever increasing grays. My hair was becoming more and more damaged with each touch up of the roots. I also have well water which is hard on the hair. Two washes with this detox shampoo and the K18 leave in hair mask and my scalp feels clean, calm and it goes much longer between washes before it feels greasy. It also tones down the brassy blonde significantly and preps my hair to better receive the blue toning shampoos and conditioners. Combining this with the K18 leave in hair mask has been an absolute miracle and game changer. Hair that was like straw has been restored with shine, bounce and breakage elimination with just two uses. The hype is real and these products are worth every penny to me!

I like it but dried out my scalp a lot

This felt like a good shampoo to remove product buildup, I used it to wash my hair after I had been using dry shampoo for a week. It removed buildup. It was a bit drying on my scalp however, I noticed my scalp was itchy the night I used it and then the next day I had a lot of flaking. I’m going to try it again and see if it happens again but if so I will definitely limit my use and possibly return.
