I have very dry skin but other cleansers for dry skin that are stated to also be moisturizing or non-drying tend to not actually cleanse well. This one does not disappoint. It does both very well. Don't let the work "oil" fool you either. It's not oily...just has a standard liquid soap texture to it but doesn't dry you out at all
