I have tried so many "volume" shampoos, and none of them really made a difference, but I find with this shampoo, my hair feels thicker and fuller. I do not use conditioner, as I find that every conditioner I've tried makes my hair limp, but this shampoo definitely makes my hair look and feel fuller.
