I really wanted to love this but unfortunately it always ends up irritating my eyes, which is where most of my makeup is that needs to be removed. It worked great on other parts of the face but it was just ok.

Dermalogica Precleanse Balm
It's difficult to squeeze out of the tube, but once you have a small amount in your palm, it spreads well if you add water.

Still need wipes for eyes...
I purchased this product to avoid using wipes under my eyes to remove mascara, but after using this balm, I still need another step to remove the make-up completely. I’ll try a different product once this runs out. I love all Dermalogica products, but this one is just ok.

It's OK
I've used many makeup removing balms, and this is just ok. It's very thick, even when it melts, and I find that I still have makeup on my face even after I double cleanse.

Dermalogica PreCleanse Balm
I have been using PreCleanse for many years and like what the oil does for removing impurities and moisturizing my skin. The new balm starts out like a lotion and becomes oil-like, but it is not as moisturizing as the original PreCleanse. I prefer the original to the new.
