I don't understand the hype
I LOVE Elta's Clear SPF & was expecting great things after reading all the great reviews but was disappointed to discover it barely cleans & my skin still feels dirty after using it. I had to use micellar water afterward to take off all the residue it left. Needless to say, I definitely wouldn't recommend this except perhaps as part of a two-step cleansing on no-makeup days. I'm sorry to report that I won't be purchasing this again.

I should have tried this years ago when I first heard about it. It really is a terrific product. It lathers into a thick foam that seems to cling to skin, but then rinses totally clean. My skin is easily irritated, but this leaves no redness or tightness. Very light pleasant scent. Love it.

EltaMD Foaming Facial Cleanser
I had been a using the EltaMD facial sunscreen, and thought I would give the cleanser a try. I bought the foaming cleanser and the deep cleanser. I alternate using them, and think I prefer the foaming cleanser. My skin feels clean and moisturized after use. A little goes a long ways, and I like the foaming action. My dermo suggested the EltaMD line, and I do like the products. I would highly recommend the products from EltaMD.

Can't take the clogged pump
I'm just not seeing the rave reviews for this product. The directions state that if it doesn't foam, then try again? I'm not going to check to see if my facial cleanser has foamed or not - I just want it to clean. But the main reason for this poor review is that the pump clogs daily. A slimy clog greets you as you go to use it. I'll pass.
