First let me say this product smells great! Second, you can watch the dirt come off your face! You apply the cleanser and then watch it foam and as it foams the dirt is lifted off your skin and you can see it!!! It is a gentle cleanser that does not strip your skin of moisture and cleans before your very eyes!!!

Fantastic Product for Sensitive Skin
I am so glad I found EltaMD products through my dermatologist. I had problems with many cleansers being too harsh and drying for my combination skin. Some cleansers just made my skin produce more oil to compensate for the dryness and it was a vicious cycle. This cleanser is gentle, yet effective and not drying. I remove mascara with an eye makeup remover first, apply the cleanser with small amount of water and gently rub with fingers. Rinse with water and pat dry with soft wet cloth. Great!

ELTAMD FOAMING FACIAL CLEANSER
I like how this product really goes on smoothly. I have a Clarisonic that I use the cleanser with and it really makes the cleanser foam up nicely. It leaves my face very clean and no makeup residue. I will definitely purchase this again as the product and price are great.

Best cleanser ever
This is by far the best cleanser I have ever used. I've been searching for the right cleanser for my skin for a very long time and I'm so happy I discovered EltaMD. I've suffered with adult acne for a few years and this is the only cleanser that has actually stopped me from breaking out. Great for Oily Skin!
I am in my late 20s and have had acne and oily skin since I was a teenager. This cleanser removes the oily feeling from my skin, keeps the oily feeling off for a long time, AND does not aggravate my acne. It's amazing. I've tried prescription and over the counter face washes and this in the only one that works on my skin. With most other face wash products my skin would be oily again within 20 minutes and/or the ingredients in the face wash would make my acne worse. With EltaMD Foaming facial cleaner the non-oily feeling lasts for about 8 hours and reduces the redness associated with acne. All skincare is a bit of trial and error to find a product that works best for your skin but if you have adult acne and/or oily skin I highly recommend this product.

Lovely scent and effective cleanser.
I use an oil-based make-up remover before cleansing, so I like something that will eliminate the oily residue. This substantial cleanser has a nice thick foaming action and did a good job of cutting through the oil. Compared to other sensitive skin cleaners, it washed away all of the the stubborn sunscreen and foundation easily. The refreshing scent is a bonus!

probably would not buy again, just not right for me
This product has a light lovely fragrance--a little bit like cucumber. I did not notice much foaming but it has a silky texture when in use. I felt it was too drying for my skin--I am pretty sensitive with rosacea and regular acne and use several topical prescription meds. I think for my skin, I need something a little less harsh. If you are not too sensitive and are a bit oilier ,this would probably be ok.

foams like shaving cream
This product was not what I was expecting. The big surprise was that it foams up very thickly like shaving cream, not like any foaming cleanser I had used before. I did not like that extra-thick foam, but some people might love it. Beyond that, I also expected it to perform better for this price (and this brand). Its pretty light on the actual cleansing action. I prefer a more thorough cleaning when I wash my face, and with this I sometimes had to wash twice to feel ok. And for reference, my skin is only mildly oily and theres usually only sunscreen on it or a light moisturizer before washing.

Elta MD Foaming Face Cleanser
This is EltaMD, so it is a quality product. It does what it says it does. Previously, I had sampled EltaMD's gel cleanser. I prefer the gel cleanser over this on. That is the main reason I rated this cleanser average. The difference is the clean feeling. This Foaming Face Wash does not leave as clean of a feeling. That said, I imagine it is better for my skin, as it is not "stripping". I will probably get used to the feeling, but if not I plan on purchasing EltaMd's gel cleanser next time.

I got acquainted with elta md through a Dr.s office in the hospital I work at. I have not tried anything that is not any good. I love EltaMD and I have received the best results from this brand than I ever received from all of the others I have tried. It does not take much of and it will last a long time. I believe you will like the way it makes your skin feel also. The lip is awesome - it makes you look like you do have lips. Try it youll like it!
