Absolutely recommend
Daily is a great product. I have been using based on a doctor recommendation. This was following my skin cancer surgery. It does not leave any residue of color. I only use the untinted as tinted stains white clothing. My face never looks white, blue or gray. It rubs in gently and quickly, with no sticky feeling. I have sensitive skin and this does not cause any outbreak, itch, redness or any other undesirable mention. I highly recommend the Daily.

substitute for a discontinued product
I have been using Elta MD UV facial broad spectrum spf 35 for at least a few years now and was very pleased with it. No problems. I went to reorder it and found out it had been discontinued. The replacement was Elta MD UV Daily Hydration spf 50. I had an allergic reaction of extremely itchy eyes lasting for approx. 10 days. I was miserable. Comparing the ingredients between the two found the SPF 50 is made with Octisalate 5.0% vs the prior SPF 35 I was using was made with Octinoxate 7.5%. Apparently I am allergic to Octisalate.

I was trying to find a zinc sunscreen since I was allergic to chemical sunscreens. I tried this moisturizing one after the Clear version was so dry it caused flaking of my skin. Unfortunately this one also is drying out my skin all over. But the consistency when applying I like.

Great daily protection with hydration
My entire family uses Elta MD products, as recommended by our dermatologist. This Elta MD UV Daily Hydration is a great product for daily use for your face. The product absorbs quickly into your skin, providing a great UV barrier to build upon with your regular makeup routine. The product is fragrance free, as are most Elta MD products, so you do not smell like you are headed to the beach. It’s an okay sunscreen, I used to use the 40 SPF one and I loved it and they changed the formula and it gives me terrible pimples now . I don’t understand why you have to put any type of acids for example of one , like lactic acids etc to sunscreen that’s made for sensitive skin, this just further irritates skin, all you need is soothing ingredients. Most of the sunscreens have some type of irritant, like this one has ginger root , that’s a drying ingredients. this sunscreen went on smoothly but l was a bit irritating to my face .

EltaMD did it again. Another favorite for my sunscreen collection. I’ve consistently using UV clear in the morning and UV daily throughout the day. I’ve, now, switched to this product and I love it. I have also used it post chemical peel procedure. It works quite well, keeping my skin hydrated.

Nice Texture
I purchased this product as an alternative to the Elta SPF 35 product that has recently been discontinued. Although the texture glides on my skin, I don't find it provides me with the level of hydration I found thru the former Elta product. I also prefer the product in a tube form.
