This is another clay type mask from Eminence and I do not like it it’s drying. I have purchased every mask they sell. To be honest this is my least favorite. The reason for the two stars is that at least there’s not garbage in the jar they are very good products this is just not a mask for my skin type. This is not a mask for dry mature skin.

Really De-puffs under eyes
I love this masque. I just placed another order for this mask from Lovely Skin. I used it today after taking a little break from it — I almost had forgotten how great it is. It’s an amazing product. I thought my under eyes looked a little puffy today— but after using this masque, my eyes looked so much better and less tired, and the rest of my face felt firmer as well. The product is thick, but you only need a small amount as the instructions are to mix a little water with the product in the palm of your hand. I dampen my skin, put a small amount of the masque on, add a little water on my fingertips and spread it on. After a few minutes, I use a fine mist spray of water on my face so the masque won’t dry too quickly. After about ten minutes (or longer of you get busy) you can rinse it off. It’s easy to rinse off without pulling or tugging on your face. I have very sensitive skin and this masque has never caused me irritation.

A fancy name for “clay”, this mask is a bit too thick & hard, which makes it rather difficult to apply! And for once in the history of Eminence masks, it doesn’t smell good!! Good if your face is peeling but make sure not to use it if your skin is sensitized whether from retinol or any other skincare procedure: it won’t tingle but literally burn!! Honestly I’ve tried better clay masks that truly left my skin soft, bright & blackhead-free!

I just received this masque over the weekend and could not wait to try it. I am in love with yet another Eminence product. (Since I do not have the ability to go in and add to a previous review I did on the Stone Crop Moisturizer - which I stated made my face breakout - I will add it in here with a notation*) *Even though this is not a good fit for my skin as a leave-on moisturizer, I decided to try and use it as a masque and it's fabulous. It goes on with the same consistency as the multiple face masques I currently use and my skin was so soft and supple after removing it. I am such a huge cheerleader for this line and as with any brand of skin care, it's not a one-fits-all for everyone. Now back to the Mushroom & Reishi Masque. I love this masque and it will now be another permanent addition to use with my other Eminence products.
