Summer necessity
I bought this for when I know I'll be outside in the sun for longer periods. I don't know if it works yet but doctors recommend it and science backs it up so I'm trusting that. Sun screen is still needed with it.

Protection from Within
I really appreciate the added protection these provide. I always wear sunscreen and have been taking these for almost a year. After a week in the Caribbean last month I can attest that these work. Even with sunscreen I have previously developed a bit of a tan while on vacation. This time, I didn’t. No one could tell I was in the sun. I plan to keep taking these.

great addition to sun care arsenal
I have used this from spring to fall for years. It works. Does it replace sunscreen? No, but if you are extremely sun sensitive, this helps wrap around your other protective measures. My skin will burn, even slathered up with spf 50, in about 15 minutes in the summer. Adding this helps prevent that. I still diligently wear sunscreen, and avoid the midday sun as much as feasible (can't live in a cave!), and this helps augment those measures. I do take a second capsule if I'm going to have an extended outside activity.

Sun Spots
I suffer from Sun spots and Melasma. Im very careful to wear a 50 spf but still get sun spots. These pills help me suppress the melanin in my skin therefore keeping my suns spots from getting darker. I'm a 62 yo male who experienced several bad sunburns growing up in the sunny south and northern Florida. I've had numerous skin cancers removed throughout my life, including 2 pre-melanoma's. My dermatologist recommended I give this supplement a try and this year spent a week at the beach, mostly under a beach umbrella, with the regular precautions of sunscreens and long sleeve rash guards. I also live in Colorado now, where the sun is even more extreme. I'm happy to report my previous 2 six month visits to the Dr. have resulted in greatly diminished skin cancer removals and the skin on my face is actually looking younger and smoother. I Follow the instructions, taking the capsule first thing in the morning, before anything else, it's that important to me. Plus, if I've been outside for a long while, I'll take another in the afternoon. This is anecdotal, but I'm a believer, especially being recommended by my DO Dermatologist.
