I don't think this is truly matte!
I'm knocking one star because I don't really think this is truly matte if you are applying the correct amount of sunscreen - and it takes a bit for it to dry down to a semi matte finish. I do like the finish, but if MATTE is what you are going for, this isn't really it. Smells AMAZING though.

After trying multiple matte sunscreens, I’ve come to terms with the fact that there is no such thing if you have oily skin (& I’ve never been a fan of the dewey look either). This sunscreen is probably the closest I’m going to get. I like how smooth it goes on, absorbs nicely, and I love how it smells. I just apply some powder to tone down the shine & I’m on my way.
