I like jane iredale products in general, but this PurePressed Base is particularly wonderful. It is lightweight, yet covers my complexion very well. With a bit of exposure to summer sun, the color matches my skin tone perfectly. I will definitely be ordering my winter complexion color in the fall.

Holy Grail Powder Foundation

Jane Iredale pure pressed base
Although I have switched to cream products for the most part, I do still like to experiment with some powder products. This one in particular is wonderful. I haven't found it to be drying at all. The color I got, I use for bronzer and a slight wash of color on the eyes. Very natural. Only thing, is you do have to reapply, at least I do. This is not a problem at all for me however. Very nice!
I was surprised that i could even use any kind of powder given my mature dry skin. It isn’t something I can just puff all over my face it is still a powder -but use it on my nose and eyelids more as a spot coverage than an all over face make up. I gave it 5 stars because if my skin wasn’t quite so dry it really would work for me all over. If you’re a powder fan this one is a winner.

Jane Iredale pressed base powder refill
I love this powder. Have been using it for several years. I normally don’t like wearing foundation, but this powder gives such a nice look without getting cakey and accumulating in the creases. When I apply and wear it, I don’t feel like I have foundation on. Also, the refills are great. I can easily pop out my old one, from the compact, it comes in, and replace it with a new one. This is a great product!

I tried this years ago and didn’t like the way it looked on my skin. So I tried it again since I’m looking for more natural products. Golden Glow is perfect for my medium warm skin tone. Be sure to use the Jane Iredale primer first to create a really nice base and end with the hydrating mist. Love it!
