Good, Not Great
I usually use a loose mineral foundation but decided to try this pressed foundation when it was on sale. It is not as easy to apply evenly as the loose foundation in my opinion and does not wear as well throughout the day. But it did match my skin tone nicely and is good for sensitive skin,

Love that you can get just the refill!
I am always looking for ways to decrease single-use packaging of products, so I love that one can get refills of this great Mineral Foundation. I'm still using an old metal compact from ywhen I first purchased it, without any need at this point to replace! On my mature face, this foundation is almost invisible when I use it sparingly . With a good moisturizer + primer underneath & Pommist afterward, there is no powdery, line-emphasizing effect like some mineral powders; looks very natural. I like that it has some SPF to support the SPF Primer I also use (if J. Iredale Primers had SPF, I'd use them, too; I like that method of getting my sun protection, sone less layer of product on my face). I use J. Iredale products almost exclusively for a natural, "almost-no-makeup-yet-a-bit-improved" look. Love the clean ingredients and, while not inexpensive, they last a long time!

Don't use to much.
I am 46 years old with fine lines and large pores. If I try to get full coverage this foundation just accentuates my aging. I gave it 4 stars because the color match is good. Easy to apply quickly. Evens out my skin tone but doesn't cover age spots. A light layer works best for me.

Admittedly, I think I prefer the Amazing Base to this, but on days where I just don’t have time, this provides light coverage in zero time. I find I can still use cream products on top of this without disrupting the product.

Not full coverage
I'm fair skin with acne scars from my younger years all over my cheeks. I was able to enjoy everything that the product claims with exception of the coverage. It only provided me with a medium coverage. No matter the method, tools I used, and layers of foundation I applied, I was never able to achieve full coverage. It never worked out as a concealer either. Having said that, there are many positive points regarding this foundation. It didn't have any noticeable and/or unpleasant smell, goes on smooth, didn't cause skin issues, gave me sun protection and lasted (without crumbling) a long time. I would recommend it and would purchase it again as an everyday foundation; not as a product to use when I need a "perfect-flawless" look.

Great for acne prone skin.
I have had the most challenging skin through my adult years due to cystic acne. This is the first and only product I can use that does not cause break outs. I provides enough coverage to cover existing acne, but does not cause it. I wish I would have discovered it sooner.

I really like this Purepressed Mineral Foundation. It controls shine all day and feels like you have no makeup on! I didn't give it a 5 star only because it does not give me the full coverage I was hoping for. I will continue to purchase since it is great for the hot summer months and has not caused any breakouts!!

This powder goes on very smooth and requires minimal buildup to cover problem areas. However, I wish I would have selected the next darker color. Also, it appears that this power has a "luminous" effect which I don't care for. To me, this just looks like shine I don't need. Not sure if I'll repurchase.
