Amount of product cut for same price
I have been using this product for years. The last shipment was disappointing. While the refill fit the compact, it was not as deep as previous refills. The shallower refill was not as full as refills I had previously received. I am disappointed in Jane Iredale. I had heard of other companies changing packaging while charging the same price, but I didn't expect such a behavior from Jane Iredale.

I like Jane Iredale Pressed Base refill. It covers good and helps the skin have a glow to it. I will order a shade darker next time. This seemed just a little too light but it blends into my skin good.

Love the product, not the packaging
This is my third PurePressed Base refill. I love the buildable coverage and convenience of doing touch-ups during the day. The powder is great. Unfortunately, the "dish" that the powder is pressed into is very thin and the refillable compact doesn't offer much protection. The powder will break if you drop the compact, even a short distance. The pressed powder also starts to break away from the sides of the "dish" as it is depleted. I trim a round makeup sponge and add it to the compact on top of the applicator. This cushions the powder disc. It isn't a perfect solution, but it helps.

I LOVE JANE!
I have never used any foundation except pressed minerals. They apply very easily with little effort without whipping up particles into the air. The feel is so smooth it's like not having anything on your face. It is lightweight, non-clogging, and gives your face a light subtle glow. It also contains Titanium dioxide for sun protection, along with minerals and anti-oxidants for the skin. Stays on well and doesn't run like liquids. One star deducted due to her products are pricey, so I purchase when on sale. I love the other products also but they are overpriced for what you get. Lastly, Jane has a larger selection of shades.

My Stand By Foundation
This mineral foundation gives amazing coverage and works great for my aging, combo skin. The only negative is the fine mineral dust which gets all over my bathroom from daily use. Marble floor, crystal sconces, everything in my master bath seems to get a coating of this fine mist. I still deal with this mess because it works, and I feel great when I’m wearing it.

This pressed powder seems to provide good overall coverage with a smooth look. The Riviera color is a great match for my skin, and I like that is a mineral powder and also has the 20 SPF. Beware that not all of the same pressed powders are 20 SPF. Some of the colors are only 15 SPF. My initial thought that has kept me from purchasing Jane Iredale products in the past is the hefty price tag. I guess I'll have to wait and see how long this small refill will last.

Nice product
I have used another mineral foundation for several years, so I thought I would give jane iredale a try. I like the coverage, but it is hard to judge the proper color online. Maybe, I can find a brick & mortar store that carries this product so that I can match my skin color to the foundation color. Other than color, I am very happy with the foundation.
