I am trying this instead of the toleraine purifying cleanser. I am trying to get a nighttime cleanser that gets all my sunscreen/makeup off without the extra step of a cleansing oil or micellar water. This is better than the regular purifying cleanser at accomplishing that. Brightening? I'm just not sure. It rinses off very cleanly and I like the way my face feels after. Is it worth the price? Maybe since I'm not using a second cleanser. However, why LRP, a company know for sensitive (and fragrance free) skincare dumped so much fragrance in this is beyond me. It is pretty strong. Hence the missing star.

I based my decision to purchase this product off of customer’s ratings of it. I like how creamy and gentle the product is. I’m finding that less is the best way to use this product, like a half of the size of a pea, in the palm of my hand, mixed with some water, gives me more than enough to thoroughly clean my face, neck and ears (do not forget your ears). I’m not able to say if it’s lightening up my hyperpigmentation, as I use other products in my regimen for brightening / correction. I will use this on my face to cleanse even when I’m taking off full makeup; however, more than not, I’m simply cleansing with it when I’ve not been made up.

I have recently become a fan of La Roche-Posay products! I use a facial cleanser and moisturizer of theirs routinely. This one peaked my interest since I tend to have problems with pigmented areas of my skin. I have only used a few times so far so I can't say yet if it is lightening any areas, but I can say it smells amazing and leaves my skin incredibly soft! I will continue to use. At least it makes my skin soft and supple!
