Too strong for older skin

Refreshing facial cleanser
I’ve been using this cleanser since December now and I really like it. It has a bit of a cooling effect and makes your skin feel so clean. It does contain salicylic acid though so it can be a bit drying. Over all I love it for my combination, acne prone skin.

Great salicylic acid wash
My dermatologist recommended I use a salicylic acid wash in the morning and since I have other Obagi products that I like, I decided to try this. I was recommended this 5 years ago by a dermatologist and it’s been a part of my regimen since! Nice foaming action with the menthol feels so good and cleans your face great! Added bonus I rarely ever get any breakouts since it has the salicylic acid. I bought a bottle for my teenagers as well to keep their skin clean and free of breakouts!

I have used this for several months. I decided to try the face wash with the vitamin C instead when I ran out of this product. I have semi oily skin and I noticed my skin was not smooth and had small bumps with the vitamin C product. I switched back to this product and my skin improved immediately. The bumps disappeared, my pores appear smaller and my overall appearance of my skin is much smoother. I am sticking with this product. Love it!

Helps with my adult, hormonal acne
I have adult, hormonal acne with sensitive skin and I've gone through various different cleansers to help eliminate pimples. This Obagi cleanser has done more for my skin than any other cleanser, it makes me feel like I have more "control" over my skin. I've noticed less pimples since switching over to this cleanser. A little product goes a long way so this bottle will last awhile. I give this product 4 stars because although it's effective, it's very drying and if I use it both morning and night, my skin becomes incredibly dry, flaky and tight feeling. But since this is the only product I've found thus far to help control my acne, I plan on repurchasing.
